Program Content

5 Senses

On top of visual and auditory senses, this course aims to widen the key senses that students use in learning, thus allowing students to become more versatile. – (Perhaps skip. Seems vague)

Electricity and Magnetism

Electricity and magnetism play a important role in our everyday lives, yet hand-in-hand relationship between the two phenomena is often overlooked by members of society. We aim to teach our participants of such a relationship through hands-on experiments and quick lectures to shed light this often misunderstood concept.

Pressure

Students will be given a chance to explore pressure, including Bernoulli’s Principle and the ideal gas law.

Map Reading and Coordinates

Students are taught how to work with coordinates, from basic algebraic and geometric problems to map reading.

Math challenge

A Math challenge will be presented at the end of the course, to encourage students to apply what they learn, thus improving retention. This also provides them with an opportunity to hone their problem solving skills, and allow them to reflect on what they’ve learned from this course.
